I have been receiving questions from a few of my followers about motivation, staying focused, and dealing with life issues. Since many of the questions were similar in topic, I decided to write a post about it. Hopefully, this post will help you and anyone else who may need an extra push!
1) How do you balance life and stay focused?
I balance life and stay focused by keeping calendars and journals! By writing everything down, it’s a lot easier to prioritize and stay organized. It also helps me to stay on track and on top of my tasks. It’s so easy to lose focus and get caught up in what’s going on around you, so remain focused on you, your goals, and your ambitions.
2) How do you uplift yourself?
Staying positive is number one! You should always speak positive acclamations on your life. You should also surround self with positive people and energy. A negative mindset will knock you off your focus!
3) How did you build your self esteem?
Honestly, it’s always been in me. It came at an early age. But, it starts within! You can have someone saying you’re pretty, you’re this, or that, but you won’t believe it until you know for yourself. The society we live in will have you constantly comparing yourself to everyone else, but you have to LOVE YOURSELF and walk with your head high babe!
4) How do you stay confident?
In my opinion, your confidence ties in with your self esteem. You HAVE to be happy with yourself and believe in yourself! This means accepting your flaws and, again, loving yourself. The confidence will come with it.
5) Do you ever have break downs?
YES!! We all have those days that aren’t as good or when we don’t feel like things are going right. Praying, building a relationship with God, and trusting in Him, have helped me in all of my weak moments! I would set expectations for myself & get upset when things didn’t go my way. But, that would only make me lose focus. I had to realize that those obstacles were simply tests that I hadto go through to prepare me for where I want to be in life. Don’t allow anxiety and depression to hinder you from becoming the greatest version of yourself!
6) How do you overcome obstacles and challenges?
This is a frequently asked question. A lot of young women may feel like they’re not where they want to be, but everyone feels that way. To be honest, I feel that way now! Life seemed to go on a major slow slope after college. Since then, I haven’t felt like I reached the amount of success or hype I should have by now. But, we have to remember everyone’s journey is different! I may not be where I want to be yet, but I will be! I know it won’t happen overnight, but it will happen when it’s God’s timing . I speak things into existence and continue to trust the process. In the midst of it all, you have to stay focused and dedicated, keep praying and working, and never lose sight!
